Hi John,

I have been so busy with the new job, new students, selling the old house & building a new one that I have finally got a chance to write you a note.

In 1997 I had bought our house for 153,000 in Lexington, Kentucky. In December 2000, the house was reappraised, and I was able to ask 209,000. The two appraisals came in at 198,000 and 202,000 (relocation type appraisals are somewhat lower than the market is asking). With that being said, I was able to get the money I put down when I purchased the house in 1997, I was able to get the money I put into the sun room and multi level deck ($20,000), and an additional $26,000 over and about all those figures.

The house was sold to the relocation service for 197,000, and I was able to make a profit of about $26,000. I think that this was an excellent earning, considered that the sunroom wasn't but three or four months old, and we had only lived there for less than four years. Upon completing our new house in Harleysville PA (right outside Souderton) I am hoping to put a deck on the back of the house. Thank you so much for your business in Lexington please let people know that they definitely will make a profit on their sunroom additions.
